CHCDIS015 Develop and provide person-centred service responses describes the skills and knowledge required to develop, implement and monitor service responses with a person with disability. Work is undertaken within a legislative and ethical framework to ensure the provision of high quality, person-centred service delivery, which supports the person’s aspirations, needs, rights and interest.
This Learner Guide describes how to work with the person to develop and implement person-centred responses. The content then explains how to review and monitor these responses, ensuring they meet procedural and legislative requirements. Lastly, it outlines how to provide service within a quality framework.
The learning content builds knowledge and understanding by using: • Step-by-step instructions on developing and implementing person-centred service responses • Straightforward explanations of how to review and monitor individual service responses • Learning Checkpoints at the end of each topic to reinforce legal and ethical considerations for working with people with disability • A range of examples and case studies that illustrate how to follow procedures for person-centred service delivery in line with organisation’s quality system
