Practice Assessment Workbook (for the learner)
- The Practice Assessment Workbook contains the formative assessments from the Learner Guide in one learner workbook, including all the Practice Tasks, Case Studies and Learning Checkpoint questions
- Provides the learner with instructions for completing each task
- Contains additional Talk with Others questions to spur additional discussion
- Features a mix of assessment activities, including multiple choice, matching pairs, short answer, case study responses and true or false questions
- The workbook can be reproduced as often as required
- Provided in Microsoft Word format, allowing the trainer/assessor to customise assessment questions and tasks to suit learners
Practice Assessment Marking Guide (for the trainer/assessor)
- The Practice Assessment Marking Guide includes suggested responses for all Practice Task and Learning Checkpoint questions
- It also provides suggested responses to the Talk with Others discussion topics
- Assessments are mapped on an Excel spreadsheet. This allows the trainer/assessor to update the mapping document to match any customisation
Final Assessments and Marking Guide
Final Assessment Workbook (for the learner)
- The Final Assessment Workbook contains the summative assessments – a combination of assessment questions, Project tasks and/or Observation activities
- The Assessment Plan lists the assessments to be completed for each unit
- It includes assessment task cover sheets and detailed instructions on how to complete each assessment.
- The trainer/assessor records the outcome of each assessment task on the Record of Outcome document
Final Assessment Marking Guide (for the trainer/assessor)
- The Final Assessment Marking Guide includes suggested responses for each Final Assessment task
- Assessments are mapped on an Excel spreadsheet. This allows the trainer/assessor to update the mapping document to match any customisation
Project and Supporting Documents
Project Task (for the learner)
- The Project requires the learner to demonstrate their skills and knowledge of the unit
- It includes detailed instructions on how to complete each task within the Project
- The Project record sheet sets the scenario for the project and is used by the trainer/assessor to record learner competence in the unit
Supporting documents (for the learner)
- Supporting documents are provided for the learner where required to complete a task from the Final Assessment
- These may include workplace documents and policies, templates, reports, sample files and checklists
Observation and Third Party Report
Observation (for the trainer/assessor)
- The Observation checklist includes detailed instructions on what tasks and skills the learner should be observed undertaking
- The Observation task can be conducted in the classroom, during work placement or in a simulated work environment
- The Observation record sheet is completed by the trainer/assessor as the Observation task is completed by the learner
Third Party Report (for the workplace supervisor)
- If the trainer/assessor does not observe the learner during work placement, a Third Party Report can be completed by a workplace supervisor
- The Third Party report lists details of each task to be demonstrated by the learner during work placement
- It outlines important guidelines and instructions to the workplace supervisor on how to complete the Third Party report in the workplace
Mapping
Mapping (for the trainer/assessor)
- The Mapping spreadsheet maps the learning content, assessments and PowerPoint slides to the elements, performance criteria, performance evidence and knowledge evidence of the unit of competency
- The mapping is provided in Microsoft Excel format, allowing the trainer/assessor to customise the mapping based on customisations
PowerPoint Slides
PowerPoint slides (for the trainer/assessor)
- The PowerPoint slides contain key images, tables, charts and diagrams used throughout the Learner Guide
- They also include additional questions to generate interactive, class-based discussions
- External links are inserted in the slides to foster additional learning
- The slides complement the training delivery and save the trainer preparation time
- The slides are provided in Microsoft PowerPoint, allowing the trainer to customise them such as including additional content or branding with the organisation’s logo
- Our PowerPoint Slides are also available to purchase separately per competency
Delivery Plans
Delivery Plans (for the trainer/assessor)
- Delivery Plans support the Training and Assessment Strategies (TAS)
- They provide estimated timeframes for delivering training as well as suggested training strategies and topics for discussion
- They contain the topics covered in the Learner Guide, provide time allocations per topic, include references to the PowerPoint slides, feature suggested resources as well as reading references, activities, role-plays, brainstorming and discussion points
- The Delivery Plans are provided in Microsoft Word format, allowing the trainer to customise them to suit their own delivery format, session timings and training strategies
