CHCCCS041 Recognise healthy body systems describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to work with basic information about healthy body systems and the impacts of ageing and disability.
This Learner Guide describes how to work with information about the human body. This includes how to interpret health terminology and the interrelationships between body systems and structures. The content also explains how to recognise and promote ways to support healthy functioning through evaluating how different systems affect and support the body.
The learning content builds knowledge and understanding by using: • Step-by-step instructions on how and when to report body system issues • Straightforward explanations of the basic structure, functions and interactions of the body • Learning Checkpoints at the end of each topic to reinforce strategies to promote health and wellbeing • A range of examples and case studies that illustrate how knowledge of the human body is applied to ageing and disability
