This Learner Guide focuses on communication skills for team leaders who have responsibility for other workers, including workers with special needs or from different cultures. It explains how to analyse both the internal and external communication requirements of an organisation in order to establish communication protocols. It describes how to direct the communication of team members and how to identify barriers to communication. It explains how to negotiate and present in a persuasive and professional manner, and how to mentor team members so they meet their own communication goals.
