This Learner Guide explains how to plan the writing of a complex document by first determining its purpose, according to organisational policy, and the required format in which to create it. Then it describes how to draft the text of the document, including how to identify gaps in the available data and collect additional material to fill them, if required. It also describes how to finalise the text, check grammar and accuracy, incorporate amendments and apply basic design elements.
