This Learner Guide explains how to implement work practices that support young people’s rights, which includes responding to disclosure and employing information-gathering techniques within the requirements of state legislation and service policies and procedures. It describes the process of reporting indications of harm and working with relevant agencies to ensure the effectiveness of the report. The material also describes how to apply ethical and nurturing practices in caring for children and young people.
