This Learner Guide explains how to interpret and analyse the NQF and the NQS and how to communicate their meaning to other staff. It shows how to conduct a self-assessment of the service, which includes sharing ideas, recording relevant information and making it readily available. Finally, the material explains how to produce a QIP from data collected in the self-assessment and how to prepare the service for a rating and assessment visit.
