This Learner Guide explains how to research diversity in the workplace by collecting and evaluating both quantative and qualitative data and by analysing how current practice matches service objectives. It also describes how to foster diversity, which includes planning in a way that shows respect for diversity and promoting the benefits of a diverse workplace. The material also explains how to implement and reflect on communication strategies that are targeted to the needs of diverse individuals according to diversity policies and procedures.
