Our Story
Aspire Learning Resources is a not-for-profit company who specialise in the development of competency-based training and assessment resources for VET (Vocational Education and Training).
We were founded back in 1991 when our first task was to develop competency standards for the clerical-admin, now called business services, workforce, after:
→ developing three editions of competency standards,
→ running an RTO focusing on business admin trainees and working as VET consultants,
→ Aspire created one of Australia’s first training packages, the Administration Training Package
During our various roles we recognised the importance of good quality VET resources that not only empower learners to build skills and knowledge that lead to job outcomes but also support trainers and assessors to meet their compliance requirements whilst delivering excellent training and assessment. We now focus our efforts on developing quality VET resources. In 2001 the Aspire Foundation was established to provide disadvantaged people access to vocational training programs resulting in job outcomes or further study.
Every resource you purchase supports the Aspire Foundation. Since inception Aspire has donated over $550,000 in foundation funds to worthwhile projects.
